just wanted to wish EVERYONE a merry CHRISTmas! (like my friend Micah says). we are having lunch at tucker's grannys....we are coming home to have a birthday party for Jesus this evening and reading the birth of Jesus. may all your days be filled with Joy. -LJP

bloggin for noggin

so, here's a new blog. i believe an exhaustion breakdown is in my near future. i have craziness going on right now.

this past weekend, tucker was insanely sick with a cold. ry has some funky virus going on...fortunately i have managed to stay sickness free. monday became crazy cold but i had to get millions of errands done that went from 2-6...yesterday we woke up and there is an icy snow mix out on our side street. we were locked inside...i attempted to get some Christmas things done...however, Ry is extremely clingy the past week.

today, i was suppose to go to the dr for ob...but i didn't want to chance our lives...ry, fetus, and myself....to go....i rescheduled. we still have Ryan's first dance recital today...i believe between three girls we will have 20 something people. i have to get things done for that....

tomorrow, i have a baby shower and i haven't finished her gifts....friday we have wedding stuff....saturday we have wedding stuff.....ahhhhhhhhh.

oh, and i haven't finished christmas gifts. aren't i great??

the other day, i was graced with a lovely moment with ryan. we sat down to eat our breakfast...joined hands...i prayed. ryan says "amen" now afterwards. we were eating and of course i am talking to her asking "what would you like to do today?" and she says "hand mama"...i give her my hand with her little precious fingers wrapped around mine...she bows her head and mumbles a few words...look's up and says "AMEN" i began smiling and her happy face appears with glee and begins clapping for herself proclaiming "I DID IT I DID IT!" i told her that i know God understood her.

then today, we went to mcdonald's and tucker sat down...she grabbed my hand and tucker's and began praying again. so, all i have to say is that i am blessed truly blessed. thankful our children will grow up in a Christian home. i am blessed to have moments like little prayers that make my heart smile.

well, another weekend has gone by this month...they seem to dwindle fast this month...last saturday, we went on the polar express...afterwards, ry wasn't feeling the greatest so she took a 3 hr nap....ever since she got her shots last friday, she hasn't felt the best...however, i think she might have a little cold too...we went to the nursery and the boys hunted while all the girls stayed inside! since ry and adeline weren't feeling good we called it a short night.

sunday, ryan still wasn't herself...we missed church...tucker didn't have to play music either. ryan took another 3 hr nap...jake/jess's shower was a the church...i went by myself since ry was asleep but everyone kept wanting her so i drove home and got her. i believe she ate all the strawberries!

we went to keith and nancy's (tucker's parents) since nancy's parents (grandmother/graddad) and brother (scott) were in town for the shower. after all the francis's left...tucker took julee outside to shoot guns...making it her first time. t showed her all the safety features and all that jazz. we only have a 20 gauge and a 9 m. so pretty easy for her. then keith got out his 12 gauge and 40 revolver...i almost peed my pants when julee stumbled backwards.

we went to keith's parents after that to see christmas decorations. tucker's granny always tries to make everyone fat i think...that house is loaded with food.

monday was a normal night....considering heroes was on...if you haven't watched heroes...you are truly missing out on a good show!! i always check the clock to see how much more time i have.

today we have dance class...and we might have shane and adeline over for dinner. weird, but they will be our first dinner guests. hopefully they will come back after they taste my cooking!!

we have been busy. December has been laced with craziness. considering the holiday season is here we also have Jake's wedding coming up in two weeks. busy busy. last Thursday we went to the festival of lights which is the Christmas parade...all the shops stay open late so most people shop and wait for the parade to start....Ryan absolutely loves parades...

then today we went on the polar express with the Enoch's. the girls like the first 15 minutes of the ride....oh, the polar express is a train ride to Custer city and we get to wear pj's...listen to Christmas music...the girls loved when the train actually choo choo'd. i will post pics of that later.

we went to get Ryan's shots yesterday. poor baby. she was so happy till they stuck her....she had to get 2 in each leg. no matter what medical professionals say...they do act differently. Ry slept for 3 hrs yesterday and even wanted an early bedtime...but we stayed up a little after bedtime to watch "how the Grinch stole Christmas" then we never heard a peep after laying her down.

i have been trying to think of some Christmas traditions for our family considering i never truly had one. some of them i have i thought of is of course the polar express...having a birthday party for Jesus on Christmas morning....watching a Christmas movie on Christmas eve...that's about it...i hope that Christmas is a joyous time for our family that we truly grasp Christmas is about the birth of Christ...i want Christmas to be filled with fun and family time.

tomorrow we have Jake and Jess's second shower and the Christmas program at the church...busy busy.

we have been some busy people this weekend with family in town and such. this is how our thursday to sunday went....

thursday- thanksgiving in the city...julee came over and watched 'the strangers'.

friday- tucker and i tried grabbing some black friday deals at 9 in the morning at wal-mart...we were pretty successful... i caught up on some well needed cleaning and organizing.....took julee back and tucker and i watched 'tropic thunder'...

saturday-tried to get ry caught up on sleep however she had a late nap...we still went to tucker's parents house since his brother jason, wife- laci, and their babies were in town...plus, his other bro jake and fiance jessica....then tucker's grandparents pat and curtis were in town along with aunt christy and uncle scott to celebrate jason's 30th birthday and to see all the babies....we ended up staying till almost 9 hrs. making ry one crazy child...her and jonathan played pretty well together. i got to play with lil maddie, in which made me want this baby to come sooner than later....

sunday- we didn't get to go to church however, tucker still went to play guitar...then came home went to eat with everyone before they left....afterwards....i went to jake and jess's wedding shower in hinton with ryan, nancy, and ruth. we came home and relaxed a few moments before getting around for 'hanging of the greens' at the church. the nursery was CRAZY....i think they had at least 15 kids in there. we tried to let ryan watch the hanging but she wanted to go to the front to dance or something. we came home and put little crazy to sleep and that basically ended the day.

today, we have to get used to tucker going back to work....TEAR! i believe ry is on the verge of sickness...she has glassy eyes, sleeping more than usual, not so smiley, and wants to cuddle (the big clue)...tonight is heroes!!yay.


we only have one weekend open in december....the rest is committed to jake's wedding....ryan is a flower girl and tucker a groomsmen....so we have tons to do. the brightside is this pregnancy is FLYING by fast. i am already 27 wks....i am starting to get anxious. till next time....
