the worst blogger award.

my sincerest apologies for not blogging more often...thus, i get the 'worst blogger award'.

i had knee surgery a couple weeks ago. i had soft cartilage under my knee cap causing it to rock out of the groove. i also had a lateral release (they cut the tendon to release pressure of the knee cap). so, it's been a wild ride for the pool party of 4. daddy pool had been in charge of the pool house. it's been an interesting ride. he did a great job of taking care of us. i am incredibly thankful for our family and church family...these weeks just wouldn't have been smooth for the 4 of us.

daddy pool and i watched my knee surgery video...they record it and also they talk to the patient about what they are doing. ...turns out, i have arthritis. i am only 27. i shed a couple of tears. however, i will have to stay on top of excercising and it might prolong intense pain.

daddy pool has started a t-shirt printing business. sweet. he's been working incredibly hard...he hasn't advertised and he already has orders to keep him busy. we are scared of when he does advertise. :)

ryan is doing absolutely GREAT!! she is such a big girl. she talks better and better everyday and it's always something new. today we put her sunday school papers in the back of the passenger side chair and she proceeded to tell me 'i am kicking Jesus'. there she was kicking her papers. ryan also told me she sings at church too "Jesus loves me". fun times.

dylan is attempting to crawl. she's not quite there but closer everyday. :) ryan already gets frustrated and even takes dylan's toys away.

all is well in the pool house. all is well.

5 months

o my o my. look at this lil face. isn't she silly? dylan is 5 1/2 months old. bittersweet the feeling. i can't believe the beginning of the year i was 45 inches around which is almost doubled my normal!! i remember lugging my body around....always having to go pee and eating like a full grown man, hence the 45 lb weight gain on my 5'2 petite frame. that was half a year ago.

i won't give you my stats now...although i have shed a few lbs...dylan however is 14 lbs. she eats like a full grown man now. geesh. dylan is actually trying to get on her hands and knees. she means business. dylan's favorite time is watching big sis of course!! ryan sings and dances for her...she even gets on the floor with dylan and plays with her toys. amazing how time flies. i realize that when i look at miss ryan. i am trying to take all this baby stuff in because i know one day...one day soon i won't have a little baby to watch roll all over the floor. one thing is for sure...dylan's smile can light even a big sister smile.

hello people. miss me? well, i am back...or so i believe i am...i might just be joking. the whole month of june and july have flown right by me...could've used a message during those months...no one offered...5 would have been magical.

what was so important that i couldn't blog...i had to wash my hair...actually 2 months of physical therapy, moving across town, working on the new house, trips, and two children makes people fall off the face of the earth. here's the low down...aka 411...aka update:

physical therapy: had 2 months of intense therapy. i realized stair masters are a device to torture people, meanwhile the physical therapist stand around and laugh. we came to an agreement however, i need to go to a surgeon. i am down in the books for aug 11. i hope he can fix my 50 yr old knees!! ;D

4th of july: we went to canadian texas....what fun!! i will post a blog later. i have some pretty awesome pics to share of our wonderfully crazy family.

tulsa: the tulsa trip ended up being a goodbye to a sweet man. john pat cobb jr. i loved him. more on him later.

housing arrangements: we are moving across town to a larger house...extra room, bathroom, and den...including a fenced in yard. what a blessing...we've been helping our landlord by painting the whole house...the floors had to be replaced...it's been an entire summer spent on this one house. the old house is just a piece of dust in the wind. actually we still have some small stuff and i have to clean up some dust.

ryan is doing GREAT considering we've been to a million places and she has had to be watched lots of different peoples. dylan is growing. 5 months a couple days ago. she is rolling from front to back...back to front, sitting up for several minutes. we haven't tried soilid foods quite yet...she giggles...absolutely LOVES watching big sis play. they are great together (so far).

well, more blogs in the next week to make a complete "update".

btw. pretty sure my husband and family are the greatest. praise the Lord.

4 years...2 kids...HAPPY ANNIVERSARY mr. daddy pool. i love you and thank you for the life you provide for us girls!! you are our hero!!

little dylan is growing up. she weighs 13 lbs in fact. dylan rolls over now from back to tummy and tummy to back. dylan is also trying to sit up. little girl might just be there soon. dylan loves watching ryan go about her day...ryan loves her too...ryan can't help but smile when dylan flashes her sweet smile. dylan still hasn't gotten any tastes of food yet....however, she has the rest of her life to eat real food so why push it right? well, our sweet baby is growing up. now, if we can get her to sleep past 6 i would be well rested!
