rocks and the color blue

recently, i have realized ryan has a problem. a serious one. she adores rocks. not that it's enough she loves her toy snakes, lizards, spiders, bugs....but now rocks. we bought her some a week ago and she will sit there...count them over and over. no one else can play with them either!

so happy about her rocks and her monies....

hopefully this obsession doesn't last long!but it is cheap!!

tucker and ryan make "pop pop" and ryan LOVES when her daddy lets her help. i think she misses putting a bag in the microwave and getting to touch buttons though.

ryan and izzy...bff's. we are having play dates on Wednesdays when we used to have class. our dance instructor lost her building so we aren't having dance anymore. but we take them there and let them run around a play.

this morning nutter brought me her giant elephant she calls horton. she has moved on from elmo and her heart belongs to horton now.

we are officially learning the color BLUE! YAY!!

yep, nutter has recognized the letters A, I, T....and now R. so, i figured she might need to learn colors too! she also recognizes the shapes circle and star. she know the difference between hot and cold. i am planning to have lesson plans for her after i have the baby. i am also trying to get her to recognize her name as well.

4 more weeks till baby is born. we were going to have ry's birthday party jan 31st, but i am worn out with anemia and being 9 months preggo. i plead temporary disability and insanity. we are now having her birthday the week after the baby is born. march 7. yes yes.....i am going to have major surgery, have a newborn, and throw a 2 year old a mickey mouse clubhouse birthday party @ our shack. i blame it on the hormones. LUCKY me...tucker gets to take off a week!! YAY!! my heart fluttered when i heard this...little does he know we have crazy work to do and we still don't know how ry will react to a new baby. also, i am calling on the crew to help me...i admit...i am blessed with great friends.

I collected rocks when I was little. I have like 5 caboodles full in mom and dad's attic. :)
