zoo time.

we decided to go to the zoo this past saturday...which is like an hour and 15-20 min or so away. we got there pretty late around 3 and there was major parking overflow and the sheriff was blocking the entrance. tucker and i almost decided to leave...we decided to stay cause of our handy dandy zoo membership. we've already got our money worth of trips to the zoo plus it helps out the zoo!! :D we were walking in and the sheriff's left...meaning people were starting to leave...there was a flyer stating the zoo was actually open till 8 pm on saturday's through the summer. what a great idea!?!?!? we grabbed something to eat at the rainforest's canopy...there wasn't any healthy options either!! boo. we then went to the dinosaur exhibit.

we thought ry would absolutely go banana's for it...she did till the huge t-rex let out a big roar and started moving. she wanted out of the stroller and into daddy's arms!! did i mention this booger isn't scared of much? she loves bugs, snakes, dinosaurs, animals, ....she doesn't mind the dark either...but these dino's were pretty scary to her and most of the kids there. i looked around and all the small kids were peeing in their pants.

zoo trips are always fun. daddy pool LOVES the zoo and his protege runny-nose. this was dylan's first and she slept in the sling the whole time. i was literally exhausted carrying her around. i do love spending time with hubby pool and our sweet darlings.

i am tired. the only thing that gets me through is coffee. blah humbug!

this past weekend was the end of season and tournament. by which, the strikers took home 1st place!! you go girls!! here are some picks of the game Saturday. oh, by the way...this weekend wasn't lovely weather...it was wet and cold....drizzly...blah.
