dr visit update

well, i am officially having this baby feb. 26th. i am scheduled as of today. i went to the dr this morning and was graced with taking the glucose test...(blah). nothing much has changed other than setting the date. oh, the baby isn't that big...no worries cause ryan wasn't big herself. i can't believe in 8 weeks baby will be here.

if it is a girl....we think the name will be dylan scout...or dylan reese....if a boy....reagan arvil.

good news. we bought a new car. see ya bug! we bought a 97 lincoln continental which has 4 doors!! :D it's a boat but a boat that is reliable and a boat with some luxury. best part about our sweet dope ride...well, it's PAID for and NO car payments. now, our money can go towards a house in tulsa!! (just dreaming there). i am proud of my hubby for all the hard work he's put into saving...getting me to save...crunching numbers....

we went to the city yesterday with granNancy...and tucker and ry's granny. i admit the shocking number of people there was amazing...do they work or what?? ryan got some cute sunday dresses and a pair of tap and ballet shoes. the day at the mall really did me in...we got home and went and purchase the car...ate dinner at Granny's...she could literally feed an army at any given moment.

we don't have big plans tonight. we might celebrate with adeline and shane...i am pretty sure adeline, izzy, ry, and i will pass out before mid-night...but we might try....

wow. this past week has been crazy. guess this is a little foreshadowing of next year. seriously can't believe the year 2009 is right around the corner.

well, i finally have a small fraction of time to get some blogging finished. we had weddings and lots of CHRISTmas get togethers.

tucker and i decided to do the three of us on CHRISTmas eve. i have to admit that ry is a pretty good present opener. she definitely got to go it quite a bit over the past week.

so, we had the wedding...monday we had CHRISTmas at tucker's parents. papa got ryan to steal popcorn balls from everyone! tuesday we went to eat with the pool clan and said our goodbye's to t's bro jason and his family. wednesday tucker and his padre fixed his truck and we had our CHRISTmas celebration. we went to eat since i have been worn out and not feeling up to cooking. Thursday i went and helped t's granny make CHRISTmas dinner. came home and got the squirt up and ready and went back to t and r's granny's house for some good food. played dirty santa....i am pretty pumped about my ice tea maker!!

this past holiday season has been action packed. however, this pregnant lady needs a day to re-coop! thus, ry and i are making a movie day and going to watch 'horton hears a who'. enjoy some chill time with t tonight...saturday we may be going to cleveland to look at a car...so, more stuff to do....at least i get my day and i got through CHRISTmas!

so, here's a new blog. i believe an exhaustion breakdown is in my near future. i have craziness going on right now.

this past weekend, tucker was insanely sick with a cold. ry has some funky virus going on...fortunately i have managed to stay sickness free. monday became crazy cold but i had to get millions of errands done that went from 2-6...yesterday we woke up and there is an icy snow mix out on our side street. we were locked inside...i attempted to get some Christmas things done...however, Ry is extremely clingy the past week.

today, i was suppose to go to the dr for ob...but i didn't want to chance our lives...ry, fetus, and myself....to go....i rescheduled. we still have Ryan's first dance recital today...i believe between three girls we will have 20 something people. i have to get things done for that....

tomorrow, i have a baby shower and i haven't finished her gifts....friday we have wedding stuff....saturday we have wedding stuff.....ahhhhhhhhh.

oh, and i haven't finished christmas gifts. aren't i great??

the other day, i was graced with a lovely moment with ryan. we sat down to eat our breakfast...joined hands...i prayed. ryan says "amen" now afterwards. we were eating and of course i am talking to her asking "what would you like to do today?" and she says "hand mama"...i give her my hand with her little precious fingers wrapped around mine...she bows her head and mumbles a few words...look's up and says "AMEN" i began smiling and her happy face appears with glee and begins clapping for herself proclaiming "I DID IT I DID IT!" i told her that i know God understood her.

then today, we went to mcdonald's and tucker sat down...she grabbed my hand and tucker's and began praying again. so, all i have to say is that i am blessed truly blessed. thankful our children will grow up in a Christian home. i am blessed to have moments like little prayers that make my heart smile.

well, another weekend has gone by this month...they seem to dwindle fast this month...last saturday, we went on the polar express...afterwards, ry wasn't feeling the greatest so she took a 3 hr nap....ever since she got her shots last friday, she hasn't felt the best...however, i think she might have a little cold too...we went to the nursery and the boys hunted while all the girls stayed inside! since ry and adeline weren't feeling good we called it a short night.

sunday, ryan still wasn't herself...we missed church...tucker didn't have to play music either. ryan took another 3 hr nap...jake/jess's shower was a the church...i went by myself since ry was asleep but everyone kept wanting her so i drove home and got her. i believe she ate all the strawberries!

we went to keith and nancy's (tucker's parents) since nancy's parents (grandmother/graddad) and brother (scott) were in town for the shower. after all the francis's left...tucker took julee outside to shoot guns...making it her first time. t showed her all the safety features and all that jazz. we only have a 20 gauge and a 9 m. so pretty easy for her. then keith got out his 12 gauge and 40 revolver...i almost peed my pants when julee stumbled backwards.

we went to keith's parents after that to see christmas decorations. tucker's granny always tries to make everyone fat i think...that house is loaded with food.

monday was a normal night....considering heroes was on...if you haven't watched heroes...you are truly missing out on a good show!! i always check the clock to see how much more time i have.

today we have dance class...and we might have shane and adeline over for dinner. weird, but they will be our first dinner guests. hopefully they will come back after they taste my cooking!!

December has been laced with craziness. considering the holiday season is here we also have Jake's wedding coming up in two weeks. busy busy. last Thursday we went to the festival of lights which is the Christmas parade...all the shops stay open late so most people shop and wait for the parade to start....Ryan absolutely loves parades...

then today we went on the polar express with the Enoch's. the girls like the first 15 minutes of the ride....oh, the polar express is a train ride to Custer city and we get to wear pj's...listen to Christmas music...the girls loved when the train actually choo choo'd. i will post pics of that later.

we went to get Ryan's shots yesterday. poor baby. she was so happy till they stuck her....she had to get 2 in each leg. no matter what medical professionals say...they do act differently. Ry slept for 3 hrs yesterday and even wanted an early bedtime...but we stayed up a little after bedtime to watch "how the Grinch stole Christmas" then we never heard a peep after laying her down.

i have been trying to think of some Christmas traditions for our family considering i never truly had one. some of them i have i thought of is of course the polar express...having a birthday party for Jesus on Christmas morning....watching a Christmas movie on Christmas eve...that's about it...i hope that Christmas is a joyous time for our family that we truly grasp Christmas is about the birth of Christ...i want Christmas to be filled with fun and family time.

tomorrow we have Jake and Jess's second shower and the Christmas program at the church...busy busy.

we have been some busy people this weekend with family in town and such. this is how our thursday to sunday went....

thursday- thanksgiving in the city...julee came over and watched 'the strangers'.

friday- tucker and i tried grabbing some black friday deals at 9 in the morning at wal-mart...we were pretty successful... i caught up on some well needed cleaning and organizing.....took julee back and tucker and i watched 'tropic thunder'...

saturday-tried to get ry caught up on sleep however she had a late nap...we still went to tucker's parents house since his brother jason, wife- laci, and their babies were in town...plus, his other bro jake and fiance jessica....then tucker's grandparents pat and curtis were in town along with aunt christy and uncle scott to celebrate jason's 30th birthday and to see all the babies....we ended up staying till almost 9 hrs. making ry one crazy child...her and jonathan played pretty well together. i got to play with lil maddie, in which made me want this baby to come sooner than later....

sunday- we didn't get to go to church however, tucker still went to play guitar...then came home went to eat with everyone before they left....afterwards....i went to jake and jess's wedding shower in hinton with ryan, nancy, and ruth. we came home and relaxed a few moments before getting around for 'hanging of the greens' at the church. the nursery was CRAZY....i think they had at least 15 kids in there. we tried to let ryan watch the hanging but she wanted to go to the front to dance or something. we came home and put little crazy to sleep and that basically ended the day.

today, we have to get used to tucker going back to work....TEAR! i believe ry is on the verge of sickness...she has glassy eyes, sleeping more than usual, not so smiley, and wants to cuddle (the big clue)...tonight is heroes!!yay.


we only have one weekend open in december....the rest is committed to jake's wedding....ryan is a flower girl and tucker a groomsmen....so we have tons to do. the brightside is this pregnancy is FLYING by fast. i am already 27 wks....i am starting to get anxious. till next time....

the day of thanks

well, just thought i would say that we went to OKC to eat with the Pool side of our family. we were going to the grand ole furr's but the line was INSANE! as in winding around the parking lot....so we went to western sizzlin.....my first time there...of course is was right smack dab in the middle of ry's nap time thus giving us fun memories....afterwards, we hit up the super wal-mart.....got ry some christmas gifts....then we came home...ry slept from 3-5:30....hopefully we have a good night's rest tonight......anyhoo, HAPPY THANKSGIVING...now i am ready to kick up my feet and enjoy tucker being home for 4 WHOLE days...the most days in quite awhile!! :D

sometimes it's hard to remember to be thankful for ALL things. i know i get down and say 'what is there to be thankful for?' but glancing to right i see my bible...in the living room sits a precious little girl, at work is my amazing husband that gives more of himself than anyone...there are ultrasound pictures on the fridge of a precious little baby that will be in our arms in a couple months....we have God, each other, shelter, food, and clothing...do we NEED a fancy car, house, and fancy things??

busy...busy

i thought i would do a quick blog. we've been super busy. last night, we went to tucker's parents for ryan's paw paw birthday party. she loves helping him open up presents. lately she has been quite a little entertainer for all those willing to watch...she was singing "mickey mouse, twinkle twinkle, wheels on the bus, elmo" and everyone loved it of course. ryan doesn't remind me of a shy child.

oh yea, we moved ryan to a twin bed in her room. her memaw got her a really cute blanket and she has some polka dot sheets and LOVES her bed. ryan grabbed my hand and lead me to her bed...i think all the present opening wore her out with all the dancing and singing.

other news, RYAN WENT POTTY IN THE POTTY!! we had a potty party. we haven't been training much since the new baby is coming and i don't want to bog her down with a bunch of new changes. but, it did give me hope! she kept going to her potty and saying "poo poo in potty YAY". also, next summer is ellie's last moments...he is moving away. yep, the thumbsucking is out of control when mr. ellie is around. i talked to the dr and he agreed to give it a couple months after dylan is here before taking away ellie.

oooooo, i think i figured out what ryan has.....i should seriously invest in an MD degree! ryan might have celiac diease...which is an allergy to wheat, rye, and barely. thus, she would have to go on a gluten free diet. this is a herditary disease as well...this disease won't kill but it's more about quality of life...considering the body can't absorb nutrients makes the body work harder to fight off sickness.. anyways, i have to take her in to get tested in the city for it...which is a prick on the finger. answers though.... :D

well, i have a baby shower today and more things tomorrow....my life doesn't slow down and don't think that i will ever get to....but it's okay cause i wouldn't change it for the world!

it's a.......

i thought i would write today. i was so sick yesterday...i had aches and chills all day yesterday accompanied by fever...i took some Tylenol pm, went to bed at 8:30 and this morning felt 100 times better.

....anyhoo....yesterday i went to my ob appoint and went to check in only to find out when i made my appoint last month she forgot to click ENTER! yep, i showed up for a non-existent appoint. she must've understood my frustration cause she was going to put me in real quick...but i went this morning instead. i was sooooooooooooo frustrated! when i go to my ob appointments, i take ry to tucker's office simply because she freaks when i am up on the table and she can't see or something.

my appointment today was good and bad. the good news: it's a girl!! the bad news: i am fat. dr told me to watch what i eat. it's weird...one dr says gain the other says you are fat! okay, so he didn't call me fat but i have never ever ever ever in my life had too-fat-issue-talk. he didn't seem too concerned though...good thing about this dr is that i was out of there in 30 minutes...that includes an ultrasound.

i am happy with a girl. i would have loved a boy only because i would've had one of each. the name "arvil" stops with tucker. :D

so, we went to Tulsa last weekend. we had such a fun time seeing everyone. the only thing about visiting is that i never want to leave. ryan loved visiting too. she got to see her aaaabaaaaaa (ava). welp, that's all for now folks.

this weekend was filled with a bunch of relaxing. we went to breakfast as normal at the cherokee with all of the grandparents. ryan talked her paw paw into a singing frog...she definitely loves her paw paw...when she sees him she just LIGHTS up!!

i haven't been feeling the greatest so i tried to rest up since tucker was home. ryan has become obsessed with care bears now...i think sesame street is over with...she says "bears bears" gets on the couch with her care bears and relaxes. the cutest little thing.

ryan was up and down all last night...so was her mommy!! ahhhhh!! she has been going through a phase where she likes to sleep with me. i allow it...she's only this age once and actually wants her mommy...we have a while. but we are going to get her a REAL big girl bed this week!!

anyhoo, ryan helped her daddy rake leaves this morning and played outside majority of the day. our neighbor gave her a stake he was grilling....and i have to say that was the first time i have seen her eat beef....but her daddy ate most of it...our neighbors are pretty awesomely sweet. they are great.

well, not much this week going on but we have a big trip this weekend to tulsa. i am sure that ryan will make the week go by fast though.

well, the election has finally drawn to a close. (thank goodness). now, all the political commercials can go away for 4 years. i am glad my vote actually went to the winning candidate...however, i am getting pretty tired of everyone being 'disturbed' about who won...well, i have to say he didn't win narrowly but by a fairly huge margin. i get frustrated cause people win always complain. i live in bible belt oklahoma and i sit in sunday school or during the sermons and listen to all the republican view points and how democrats aren't really christians. i beg to differ. i like to call myself a democratic southern baptist. (basically unheard of...) God chooses the kings that rule over us...does God not have a hand in Obama's win? i have my reasons for choosing to be democratic...i think democrats are more Christian sometimes than republican's...democrats are known as 'bleeding hearts'....anyways, i hardly ever put political opinons out there anymore...people trying to convert me that is a lost cause. i don't know why people debate about politics because we already have our opinons yet people still try to impose on you. BLAH.

we haven't been that busy yet again we are...ryan is such a lil nut!! i love her so much. last night, tucker and i were watching the evening news and ryan got on the couch and gave us a 'group hug' kissed her daddy, kissed me, then proceeded to get down to play. crazy how many times we have 'grouped hug' and she caught on enough to do it out of the blue. yesterday she kept coming to me and saying 'please cheese'....ryan has ate almost 12 pieces of string cheese in the past 3 days...my opinion is she is actually eating something...so let her be...

yesterday morning ryan woke me up by singing to me and giving me kisses. sounded like she was singing 'you are my sunshine'...the song i have sang ever since she came out of the womb to wake her up. ry is getting conversational....she talks and talks...she asks 'why?' now...she is such a blessing even when she is embarrassing me with the fake fit in stores!! :)

the baby has been moving like crazy. i am starting to get my belly, thus carrying ryan and having a big ole belly is starting to make me really tired when it comes 8. sometimes i wonder if i can even stay up to put ryan to sleep. however, i do know sleep is now something of the past and i probably won't get any till i am 50. this pregnancy seems to be going by fast. i am already 24 wks...i think trying to keep up with ryan makes the times go by quickly. some days i think of how unprepared i am...but how much prep do ya need? i make the milk...cloth diapers i already have, and clothes...i have all those things...i just need to dig out the clothes.

Happy Halloween a day late....

HAPPY HALLOWEEN...i know i am a day late...we have had a pretty exciting past couple days. wednesday...us girls went to dance class, then decided to play on the playground with adeline and izzy, then decided to go over to adeline and izzy's so the boy's could hunt and most importantly...see their new casa!! (it's pretty awesome). we didn't get home late.

thursday was the day clinton does trick or treating and our church fall festival...we didn't get home till really late that night too...

making friday CRAZY...ry is a child who DEFINITELY needs her scheduled sleeping! her pawpaw aka maytag man came to help fix my sad excuse of a washer that does work so i shouldn't complain...however, ryan came up to me and lead me to our room meaning she wanted to go "night night" @ 6:30!! i actually got to relax with tucker and hang out with him.

today i actually got to sleep in thanks to my super duper wonderful hubby!! we went to breakfast with her pawpaw, uncle jake, granny, and grandpa...i have to admit she does have pawpaw pretty wrapped around her little finger!! afterwards, i went and helped her pawpaw and uncle jake build ryan's shelf that looks like a dollhouse. seriously, whatever ry ry wants ry ry gets from pawpaw!! afterwards, we went to the park. ry LOVES the outdoors just like her daddy. she tries to go outside even if it's cold...we normally do, however, lately she goes outside to bug hunt. have i mention ry's obsession with bugs?? we came home and made some dinner. ryan has been helping with the dinner the past two nights. i let her pour ingredients...she LOVES to help...load/unload the dishwasher, washer, dryer....fold clothes...sweep...anything i am doing she is trying to do...

anyhoo, i am amazed with all ryan has been doing lately. her language doubles each week...today she said "why why why?" she loves taking bows at the end of each dance. too cute.

the baby in my uterus is becoming much much much bigger. i have double in sized in the past couple weeks. ...i have gained 10lbs...but still i am short so looks more like 20! i am feeling movement like crazy...i love the assurance of movement!! i am kind of hoping for a girl...

the names we've came up with for a boy are: reagan, christian, logan and that's about it!

for girls:marley, dylan, and that's about it!

all i know is that i am going to be HUGE!! i hope i can still walk...this pregnancy is flying by! i am 23 wks already....and i have too much to do before this baby gets here...well, happy time change and adios!
