funky town

she was mad cause she wanted to go to funky town with her sister.

boot camp

tuesday i started a little thing called boot camp to get my 'boot'ie into shape. i haven't worked out in so long...anyhoo, tuesday we did arms and i thought i was going to die after with soreness, yet, i think picking up kids has kept me in shape pretty well!! not too bad! :D i missed yesterday. i have had some funky stomach virus...tucker had to stay home from work i was so sick. i went again today and we did arms...bi's and tri's. i am hoping not to be too sore. i hope this makes me feel better about myself and get rid of all this flab stuff!!

the movies

isn't she silly??

this is after the movie...ryan LOVED LOVED LOVED the experience

this is the sky on the way home. looks worse that it was...we just got sprinkles

this past Saturday we took ryan to her second movie ever...the first being 300 when she was approximately dylan's age. she slept through it and didn't get to enjoy the scenery. we watched 'monsters vs aliens'. i didn't quite know what to expect with her however, she sat on her daddy's lap with her popcorn and drink quietly and watched the movie. dylan slept through the entire thing. all in all, fun experience. as ryan gets older it's so much fun doing more things like the movies, going to the zoo and her recognize animals from books, reading longer books, playdoh, coloring with markers, there is much more to do now which makes activities even more fun!

Sunday we went to Canadian for tucker and the girls grandmother's birthday. ryan was quite entertaining to all her aunts, uncles, and grandparents. she sang 'i am a little teapot', 'wheels on the bus', and 'twinkle twinkle'....the took a bow after each song...then made everyone in the room take a bow. she is silly. grandmother was happy we visited and we got to see some family so the weekend was good.

the nursery

awww aren't they sweet together??

i didn't capture too many shots at the nursery but i thought this one was funny. that's ryan trying to give izzy a kiss but izzy didn't want a kiss...note izzy's face. i love their loving relationship.

4 years ago, i think back and wonder if someone asked me if i would be married and have two gorgeous girls. i would've said absolutely not.

4 years ago, something tragic happened. april 15th Richard Joel Brothers passed away. who is this guy? well, i had complicated fortune to living with one of my greatest friend's parents after graduating high school after some un-necessary fighting with my own family. they welcomed me into their house with WIDE OPEN arms. i stayed that summer before attending OU in the fall. Ronda and Joel allowed me to come to their house during breaks, spend holidays, called me checking on me during the school year...i simply never left. this family treated me like their own...making me learn to change a tire, check the oil in my car, mow the yard, make a budget, cook, clean, cut wood...i hated it....seriously HATED IT....yet, i admit, i am a better woman because of them. why? it helped me by learning UNCONDITIONAL love, how to be a strong woman yet submissive to my husband. what family time really means....how arguments will always happen but family is always there to give you another hug.

4 years ago, an oil derrick took joels life. he was a strong man. a kind man. he was humorous, gentle, loving, sweet, and smart. the man who loved his wife dearingly, sweetly, and kindly. i remember how they still looked at each other. laughed at another. held each other. i would get squeamish...but now that's what i want from my husband.

the man who LOVES his son. scott. who loved him no matter what. who goofed around with him...who would listen to scott no matter how busy and keep his secrets. who went to every thing of scotts...who kept up at night thinking about him when he knew scott was having a tough time. he loved scott with all this heart.

i will never forget that night. scott and i held each other...we held ronda. we decided letting go was the better deal. but we will NEVER EVER forget him no matter how many times he embarrassed me...i will remember all the secrets he held of mine, loved me, hugged me, worried about me, protected me, fixing my car, taking me to work when my car was broke, making me mow, telling boys to never ever call his house cause he knew they were bad eggs, telling stupid STUPID jokes only he thought was funny, having belching contests, almost taking me home from taking me to college cause i cried so hard, walking in to the house with him listening to enya, and i will always love him.

i didn't know if i would ever get pass this hurt...loss....watching others hurt and feeling lost. i met tucker 2 months later....he has shown me that unconditional love i desired...that i had be taught. God knew what he was doing....and i am thankful.

birthday number 27

last week was the arrival of my 27th birthday. :( i have to admit....maybe quite possibly the most bad birthday ever. first of all, daddy pool didn't tell me 'happy birthday' till almost 1 in the afternoon after i took him to work in the morning. he then told ryan to tell me 'happy birthday' and she sang the whole song to me!! :D adeline, cylina, izzy, ethan, ryan, and i went to eat at wong's. they surprised me with some yummy smelly dish detergent and hand soap. i am in love with the soap.

tucker told me to dress nice to go to the city and i asked him why...he said cause he was going to take me out to eat and to have the girls ready to go to their grandparents when he got off work. okay, the problem...i am not fancy....i am a small-town chick that has never been to a fancy place except on prom night and we went to the petroleum club in tulsa (fun times). also, i had not showered....showers with a toddler and a newborn are almost non-existant. third...why go spend that money when we could eat at applebee's? anything is better than the town we live in. right? well, daddy pool got his feelings hurt and we ended up going nowhere. we stayed at home. forth reason, my parents didn't even call me on my birthday, nor the day after, or the day after that...a week later and no happy birthday. my good friday birthday didn't hold true to a good friday. i did end up with some flowers. daddy pool talks about getting me a camera for my birthday...we will see. however, i found out that aerosmith is coming to TULSa....holy crazy cow...steven and joe in tulsa...maybe i might end up with tickets since he feels really bad.

all in all....it was another day!!

brownie smiles

this is the end above...such a wonderful view of her pearly whites before we scrubbed off all the chocolate.

yesterday, ryan was SOOOOOOOOO good. she's been eating well and i thought "hey, i am going to treat her to a brownie". majority of the time we don't have much junk food in the house but i have a junkie named daddy pool. ryan had popcorn chicken, yogurt, and apples...made a happy plate so she got her treat. the photos you are about to see was over a 5 second time lapse. brace yourself for the images you are about to see.

jake's birthday

uncle jake-o is now 21!! congrats to him and those who have put up with him for 21 years. just kidding jake...wait a minute...no i am not. :D uncle jake let ryan blow out his candles. this has been an obsession since tucker let her blow out his on his birthday last october. i can't keep a candle lit to save my life with little ry...today she witnessed the restaurant workers singing 'happy birthday' to an unwilling participant...ryan wondered where the candles were! no one's birthday is safe anymore!
