batman and cookie.

masta t's birthday has come and gone. we were all sick. friday we went to the big city and we woke up with sore throats from drainage thinking it would go away...however, as the day progressed the worse it got!! ry got worse as the day went on too...she even fell asleep in the mall and slept on a chair...it was that bad!! saturday, i woke up sneezing, blowing my nose, ryan had a temp, and masta t was sneezing and his nose running. he and i did not follow thru with our original plans of taking the girls to the pumpkin patch and then on to a date for his birthday....we stayed home with a feverish child and runny noses. t's mom brought us some chicken noodle soup...which helped a ton. sunday, his granny cooked out for his birthday. we had steak, burgers, hot dogs....and of course a cookie cake that t looked forward to...so, despite feeling sick we had a small little birthday party.

ryan could live off of cookie cake.

pretty sure tucker could too!!

almost 8 months.

dylan is offically and almost 8 months. this month has been fairly thrilling considering she is crawling...cut two teeth. following big sis around and her personality is HILARIOUS!!! she giggles as she crawls she makes silly faces...such an easy going baby if she is FED!! :)her favorite activity is to go into big sis's room and play with her toys. (i had to go thru the whole room to take out the small pieces.) hard to believe our little baby girls is almost 8 months.

innocent.

look here at this little bundle of cuteness acting innocent. well, she is innocent when i took the picture but she does crawl now...she even crawls to other rooms. dylan is 7 months old and got her two bottom teeth and crawled in same week. we love her. she gets goofier by the minute. :)

ryan and stud

we have an extra room in the new house so we are planning to make it a playroom. as you can tell in the background...it hasn't happened yet. there are still boxes to be unpacked...crutches just in case i have another knee surgery before i turn 28. but, we have cleared and made a little spot for ryan to watch some vhs tapes in the 'playroom'. the other day, i was working on getting organized and put on the 'lion king' and this is what i found when i checked up on her....ryan and her own 'lion king' stud. :)

hello little kitty.

a couple weeks ago was the oklahoma state fair in oklahoma city. i kept seeing children with face painting...so, we found the booth. there were tons of pictures of paintings to choose from. ryan only looked once and said 'kitty, i want to be stud'. i wanted her to get a cool butterfly, but gave into her desperation of being a kitty. she came out LOVING it. also, let me tell ya, the child sat VERY VERY still for them to paint her face.... :)

stud.

meet stud

ryan's new best friend i believe

it's a sad story behind this cat. very sad. i don't know if i want to share it because it's sad. i am not a huge cat fan....not in the least. but i am an animal fan.

about a year ago, ryan and i were outside when this sweet black kitty showed up. we named her 'kitty'. she was so sweet....we gave her food and the rest was history. we let her in...she loved cuddling and being petted. most cats don't like people...not kitty she LOVED people. during the spring we put her back outside...let her roam.....she ended up getting pregnant. when she had her babies, i went on a journey to find them...we had also discussed getting her fixed. she was only maybe a year and a half old. well, as i was walking by a bush i heard some small rustling.....i looked and there they were. all four kittens. we made sure she had food and water.

about the time of discovering kitty and her kittens, we were in the process of moving. we were definitely taking her. she was sweet as can be. we didn't know what to do with the kittens, but we were going to take her and her small family. one evening, we came home, i went to check on her....she was just laying there. (weird, cause she would always come out to socialize when we were near.) i said 'kiiiiiiittttttyyyyyy'. nothing. nothing at all. she laid there. i told tucker to come quickly. she picked her up....she let out a moan. lifeless....she couldn't move. we called the vet and tucker quickly loaded her in a box....she just laid there....we put her kittens in with her. i remember, kitty in the box and tucker running in to get something. i kept petting her as she was letting out low moans. her eyes were fixed on mine telling me 'help me'. i started crying. her babies were trying to nurse. i kept crying.

tucker left. i cried. i cried i cried. over this sweet little kitty. tucker was gone for a long time. as soon as i heard him, i quickly ran to the door. it was too late. kitty had gotten into poisoning. there is nothing a vet can do after a cat has gotten into poisoning. then, there were four little kittens. crying for their mommy.

for a whole 2 weeks, i nursed and nursed them with a bottle. i would nurse dylan, then the kittens, pack. it was a crazy two weeks. we moved. we put the kittens in a storage shed. the kittens were doing great. they thrived. however, one evening, the kitty with twisted limbs, we found dead. he probably had some intestinal problems that happen when kittens have twisted limbs. a week later, our dog kaya malled two others. then, i found stud in the back of the storage shed meowing. we took him in and named him 'stud'.

about 4-5 days ago, stud went missing. we usually let him out for a little while and he comes back in. hardly does he ever wander off...but this time he did. a couple days ago, ryan started calling him...she went to every room. still no stud. while she was napping sunday, he went and asked our neighbor boys if they seen him...yes, they had but it was a day before. tucker told them he'd give them $20 to go find him....15 minutes later stud was reunited. (dumb boys should've done it for free, but kids these days are BRATS). ryan was so happy and stud too. he curled up in our blankets and slept for 24 hrs.

new seasons are ahead.

hello, my readers. i have been on hiatus, i can't really pen point where i spent it but i did. new seasons are upon us with our family...so i will share recent news with all of you.

first, dylan has started crawling and cutting her two teeth...she did them all in the same week. wow!! she is now 7 months old. hard to believe i was 40 lbs over weight at the beginning of this year.

second, ryan is becoming a real hoot. the other day tucker asked 'ryan are you a cowboy?' ryan replies 'no daddy, i am a cowboy-girl'....so matter-of-factly. since moving, we have enjoyed having neighbors that speak english :). our neighbor girl, reagan, was over visiting...she told ryan 'you are silly' and ryan said 'no, i am ryan.' :) now when she plays, she will set up her figurines and tell me 'that's perfect mommy'. oooo how she loves to sing. this kid picks up music like crazy!! i can't believe she is two and a half.

third, tucker is starting his OWN business!!! what a wonderful blessing?!?!?!?!? not too long ago, he bought a screen press and a ton of equipment from a lady wanting to get out of the business and selling her stuff for cheap!! we got a steal!! lately, on tuesday's and thursday's after all us girls are in bed, he sets off to print t-shirts. he's also been busy with creating logo's, business cards, web-sites. exciting news is that there is a possibility to get a space to run the business. pretty cool. tucker is doing awesome.

fourth, i am starting up a photography business on the side. as in, doing photos for friends and family. i love LOVE LOVE taking pictures and masta t bought me a new camera. i already have a client!! this is just something to do on the side...i am not pursuing something.....just want to be able to allow people to have great photos without costing an arm and a leg.

fifth, life is good right now. life is good.
